Chapter 6: New Encounter

Reborn smirked “You’ve belonged here all along. This is actually your home, your birthplace and…….”

He seemed to pause for just a moment for this information to sink in. “and your parents were Mafioso.”

*W-WHAT?!* you thought. “B-B-But.. Reborn-san t-that w-would mean…..” you spoke as if the words struggled to release themselves from your voice.

“Yes (name). That means that this is where you are originally from.” Reborn continued to smirk. “and…… you don’t have to worry about what you’ve been worried about since you got here anymore.”

“+T-That’s great (name)!+” exclaimed Tsuna. He was overjoyed for you.

Reborn turned to leave as your tears fell from your face onto the ground. “One last thing, being the type of Mafioso your parents were, the Vongola have a large respect for them and therefore you will remain under our care.” Reborn left.

Tsuna continued to fret over your tears, but you had a bright smile on your face because now, you had someplace that you could finally call home.
(Later)…..
So you were actually a part of this world too somehow…. you still couldn’t believe it but, somehow this information had lifted something off of you. Perhaps some kind of burden? You weren’t sure, but something was growing inside of you too.

You were now in the school Library having escaped from noise to begin your studies in Japanese. After all you this is your home, so learning Japanese is a must.

You’d have to return to your final classes soon.

(With Tsuna and the rest)

“Che! So that woman didn’t come to eat lunch. She’s making the tenth worry too much over her!” grumbled Gokudera.

“I’m sure there’s no need to worry, she was pretty happy after that talk with the kid” reassured Yamamoto. “She was probably too full with joy”

Once again Yamamoto’s calm nature had reassured Tsuna that there was no need to worry and he began to calm down but there was one thing that concerned Tsuna even more. It was what Reborn had said last * the Vongola have a large respect for them and therefore you will remain under our care.*

*If her parents are involved with the mafia, then will (name) be more involved in the mafia also?* That was the last thing Tsuna wanted to ever happen to you, or anyone.

(Time Passes)

School had finished for the day and so you were packing up your things as well as the Japanese books you had decided to borrow from the school Library to continue to study later.

“(Name)-chan!” called Kyoko. “+Do you want to walk home together+?”

Kyoko’s smile brightened when you shyly agreed to go with her and her friend. You could bet right at this moment Tsuna would be a little envious of you. You smiled at the thought.

As you left the classroom together with Kyoko, Tsuna thought to himself how lucky you were to hang out with Kyoko. But on the other hand he also had a growing worry for you or so it seemed at first glance.

“Judiame! Let’s walk home!” smiled Gokudera, whose smile faded as soon as Yamamoto added “Ready Tsuna?”

“Tch OF course he’s ready baseball idiot!” yelled Gokudera.

Tsuna sighed to himself, this sigh didn’t go unnoticed of course.

When Tsuna, Yamamoto and Gokudera arrived at Tsuna’s house they went up to Tsuna’s room.

“Tsuna?”

“Huh?” Tsuna had been distracted by his thoughts. Gokudera and Yamamoto were looking at him questioningly. “S-Sorry what was that again?”

“Are you worried about (name)-san again Tsuna?” asked Yamamoto.

“Ehhhhhh?!” Tsuna jumped a little surprised as his faced turned a little red in embarrassment before he nodded looking a little downcast. “I-I’m just a little worried about her involvement in all this, after all s-she is a girl……”

“Don’t worry Judiame!” exclaimed Gokudera reassuringly. “I’m sure –"

Then Yamamoto cut in excitedly. “We just have to look after her like the kid said right!”

While Gokudera growled at Yamamoto for interrupting him Tsuna smiled to himself thinking *that’s right…..all of us together won’t let (name) get caught up in the mafia……* then he thought horribly to himself as he held his head in his hands *AHH!! I don’t want any part of it either!*

Reborn smirked to himself outside the window “Things are about to get very interesting.” Before he stared up at the sky a bit more seriously “They have to be ready when the time comes…”

Tsuna and the boys then heard Mrs Sawada “+Oh! Welcome back (name)-chan+”

You smiled at her “+I-I’m back+” as you walked up the stairs to your room.

“+Ah! (Name)-san welcome home+” greeted I-pin as she bowed before Lambo came running down the hallway laughing. “+Lambo! No running in the halls!+”

Lambo then pulled out his tongue to I-pin and ran off laughing. “+Lambo!+” I-pin yelled chasing after him.

You giggled a little at their antics before setting your bag down on the bed gently before you heard “+Argh! Stupid Base-ball idiot!+” from next door *t-that’s right Tsuna’s room is right next door..* you thought to yourself before a small blush formed on your face.

Shaking it off you decided to go back downstairs before you bumped into someone in the hallway.

“Ah! G-Gomen (S-Sorry!)” both of you muffled apologetically. You looked up to find Tsuna staring at you. Both of you pausing for a moment before both of your faces turned red when you realized how close to each other you were. Moving away quickly from each other you both muffled another apology before it became awkwardly silent. Tsuna broke the ice still a little nervous “+u-uh so (name) how was your day?+”

“+U-Uh g-good I got to practice my Japanese a lot so that I can speak more with everyone+” you smiled a little proud of being able to speak more Japanese.

Tsuna was ecstatic “+W-Well that’s great!+” before scratching his own head laughing sheepishly “+I really should practice my English+”

You laughed a little, you were happy. Tsuna stared at you for a moment watching you as you smiled.

You paused noticing his dazed expression “+Uno... Tsuna-kun are you alright+?”

Snapping out of his daze Tsuna stuttered “+a-ah! I’m f-fine!+” as he turned his head to the side to hide the small blush growing on his face. *what’s wrong with me!*

You paused for a moment before a blush of your own formed on your face *I-I just called him T-Tsuna-kun again!*

“+Oh! It’s (name)-san!+” exclaimed Yamamoto as he popped his head out of Tsuna’s room smiling startling both you and Tsuna.

You waved at Yamamoto in response and then you heard Gokudera grumble something about idiots. Tsuna turned back to you “+Y-You should come join us…..I-I mean if you want t-to…+”

You smiled again “+O-Okay+” You were about to take a step forward when suddenly an agonizing pain surged through your head, it was as if something huge was trying to pry it open. Surprised by the sudden pain it caught you off balance and you began to fall to the floor only to be caught by Tsuna “(Name)!” Tsuna was panicking “+Oi! Are you alright?+”exclaimed Yamamoto in alarm as he ran over. You looked weakly up at Tsuna trying to muster enough strength to speak before everything went black. “+Hey! (Name)!+”

Everything faded away......

The next thing you knew…. you woke up surrounded by white, it was white in every direction with nothing else stretching for miles.

Standing up you looked around “Where am I?” you muttered.

“Where are you?....  you are right here are you not?” a voice laughed. “...once again... we meet”

Startled you looked around frantically for the source of the deep voice. *W-Why does this voice sound so familiar? So... * You shivered in fear as if your body was remembering something extremely unpleasant.

When finally you turned to see a shadow of a man’s figure in front of you.
Sweat fell from your face  *So... frightening...*
